Each week during this 8 week online course students will learn about a new principle in the craft of comics. We will study the masters of the medium and hone our skills with weekly exercises. Learn how to get the most out of your page design, utilize the power of sound effects, create dynamic action sequences, and much more. Take your comics to the next level in this intermediate comics course. Students should have had some experience creating their own comics.

January 20-March 10.
Wednesdays 7:30p.m.-8:30p.m. (-5 GMT)

Age: 18 and up.

Students will be expected to work on exercises outside of class each week (1-3 hours max).

Materials: Zoom, 9’x12” sketchbook. Pencils, or prefered mark making tools. Students will be expected to scan or photograph work and upload images to a shared drive folder.

(note: There is a minimum enrollment of 4 students for this course. If enrollment minimum is not reached, students will be refunded their tuition.)
